WHAT I'VE DONE RECENTLY

BEHIND THE SCENES

Producer/Creator

Sean Crampton

Sean has produced over 1,000+ hours of film and has taken the smallest movies to the biggest stages.

Originally from San Diego with no foot in the Hollywood door, Sean created his own pathway. An actor turned writer-director-producer-editor-caterer-sound mixer-location scout-etc, he forced Hollywood to take a look.

PEOPLE SAY

EDDIE SHIN

Actor (Alexa & Katie (Netflix); West World (HBO))

“I love talking shop and collaborating with Sean. I value his filmmaking knowledge, because I know and see that it comes from hands-on experience. He’s out there every day, walking the walk, consistently finding ways to put together and finish projects. If you’re stumbling around, waiting for inspiration or insight, do what I do, and save yourself some time and energy: borrow Sean’s road map. Learn from his mistakes, and steal from his successes. He’s been happy to share his insight with me for years. I’m pumped that others have access to it now too.”

BRENDAN McCARTHY

Co-Executive Producer - Grace & Frankie (Netflix)

"Sean's work ethic, creative optimism, and raw talent serve as an inspiration to us lazier, less inspired artists.  He's also one of the funniest people I've ever been in the same room with, so there's that, too."

MOLLY GILULA

Producer / Actress (The Wheel, Making A Murderer (Netflix))

“Sean has a deep knowledge and experience with multiple aspects of filmmaking: Writing, acting and producing.  He is presently pursuing and growing in each field on a daily basis, and they all lend beautifully to the business he’s created.  By knowing every aspect, he is able to give informed insight on how best to be successful in any creative story one may have.  Sean’s unmatched passion and determination for the craft and years of experience will leave you with guided support and absolutely prepared for your next project.”

ANDREW LABOY

Cinematographer (Bad Trip (Netflix), Jackass 4)

"Sean's commitment to the craft is unparalleled, his passion unmatched, and time spent in his company is time well spent.”

ADAM J. HARRINGTON

Actor (The Little Things (HBO, The Stalking Fields, Bosch (AP))

"What has always impressed me most about Sean, besides his incredible work ethic and his chops as an actor and producer,  is his encouragement of people to be their best, both as professionals and as human beings.”

JESSIE SHAPIRO

Composer / Writer (The Loser (WB), Shook (Disney))

“The expertise Sean provides a production is invaluable. Infectious even. Sean’s organized, detail-oriented, and understands what it means to be a true collaborator, while never forgetting that creating and collaborating is supposed to be fun. Sean is a natural producer. Resilient. Supportive. Adaptive. Annoyingly positive. Whether you’re in pre-production, on-set, or in post, Sean is the guy you want by your side in the trenches.”

FAQ

  • What exactly will I learn in your course?

Great question! You'll learn, from start to finish, all the in's and out's of making your own feature film. Including, but certainly not limited to, all of Hollywood's movie making secrets that you can't find online.

  • How long is your course?

It is just over 8 hours in total length. I believe in bite sized lessons so they are easy to digest and simple to adhere to!

  • Do you offer anything else?

Yes! We offer full production services as well! From your pilot teaser to commercials to feature film productions.

  • Do you have other courses?

Not yet. The plan is to have courses for our community that really dig into the details of each film making niche. Future courses includes: screen writing, music scoring, editing - just to name a few with GUEST TEACHERS.

  • Why should I want to learn how to be an independent filmmaker?

Important question. One, it's scaleable and translates upward. In my experience, it's a lot harder for people in the studio system to make an independent film where its not the case the other way around. Two, you're more in control of your life. Whether that's your schedule or your actual art that you're creating. Three, if your project hits you're more likely to reap a bigger financial reward because there are less mouths to feed and less "Hollywood accounting" to diminish your returns.
